OCXO/TCXO installation for OPPO 103D and 105D
.
1. X20: 27 MHZ : HDMI 1 and Darbee processing section.
Remove X20, C998, C999 and R900
2. X2 27 MHZ : CPU section.
Remove X2, C140, C19 and R61 and R33
3. Using thin HF wires to designated position. ( clock and Ground ). the wires should be twisted for cancelling EMI interference.
4. Get the DC power ( 6-8 V) from linear power module and connect to the input of TCXO module. the wires should be twisted as shown in picture.

Upgraded Linear power module for OPPO 103, 103D and 93
- Low ESR Nichicon Electroytic Audio grade capacitors
- All discrete Schottky Barrier diodes.
The Schottky diode (named after German physicist Walter H. Schottky) is a semiconductor diode with a low forward voltage drop and a very fast switching action.
When current flows through a diode there is a small voltage drop across the diode terminals. A normal silicon diode has a voltage drop between 0.6–0.7 volts, while a Schottky diode voltage drop is between approximately 0.15–0.45 volts. This lower voltage drop can provide higher switching speed and better system efficiency.
It produce much less heat and EMI and switching noise.
But it is expensive and exist only discrete device. I used 8 or 12 Schottky diodes in this LPM
- 1 UF/63V Wima Polyproplyne Film capacitor and 33 uF tantalium capacitors for regualtor IC buffering/impedence matching.
