외국 사이트에서 오포 105 및 105D의 아날로그 DAC 보드의 54 MHz 클럭을 100 MHz 클럭으로 교체 하면 음질 향상및 새롭게 192 KHz 파일 뿐 아니라 384 MHz 파일도 재생이 가능하다는 사실을 듣고 지난 주말 업 그레이드 해 보았습니다.

적당한 클럭으로 평가가 좋은 미국의 Crystek 사 제품을 구입하여 장착 하였습니다. 전원은 기존에 설치된 OCXO/TCXO 클럭 모듈의 리니어 파워로 부터 얻고 약 10 분 내의 간단한 작업 끝에 완료.

오래 동안 들어 보지 못했으나 확실히 디테일감과 악기의 공간 정위감이 향샹 된 것 같습니다. 

 Crystek 100 MHz TCXO  20 PPM class.

OPPO 103 /103D modification procedure

1. Take out the power module , analog DAC board and main board

2. Take out the CPU heatsink

3. Desolder clocks, capacitors and resistors around clocks with hot air gun and put very thin HF tefron wires

5. Get the power form Linear power module

6. connect the power lines to OCXO/TCXO module

7. connect all wires.

I stongly recommend OCXO +TCXO clock  module as shown in picture.

OCXO is very expensive part ( it costs 200 $ alone ).

But accuracy is exellent. 0.01 PPM while tcxo is 2.5 PPm and normal clock in OPPO BD player is around 300 PPM)

But syetem and CPU clock is the most important clock in whole sytem. so it is wise choice to use OCXO.

and video processing is less important . soI TCXO is OK.

The OCXO/TCXO clock module get its own clean power from the onboar linear 3.3 V regulator .

its power source come from  the Schottky Barrier diode and audio grade capacitors of LPM SE .

I will supply all the accesary for installing this nodule in clding very thin and exellent Tefron HF wires .

THe OCXO/TCXO clock module is 350$ while TCXO module is 170 $

You can make nmuch better sound with shortening or adding good quality filem capacitor such as 1uf 63 V WIMA cap in  the coupling capacitors .
