There are many DA converters available, such as PSaudio, that can receive I2S signals via the HDMI terminal type.

The above picture shows the addition of an I2S card that can transfer data directly to these devices.

With I2S signal, it is possible to transmit 96, 128Khz and 36 Bit Hi Resolution PCM data as well as SACD or DSD data signals which can not be coaxial or optical output .
