Hi,

So I received the 105d (end of last week). No damage, no problems.

Now I tried it : it works well, and I noticed immediately and obviously a difference!

Audio stereo : mainly less fatigue listening (less agressive sound), much much more "opened" or more "amplitude" or space in the sound scene. Less distorsion I think, instruments are more detached from each other and eveything is clear and smooth.

Video : very nice, less noise, I can push the darbee setting much farther without the noise appearing like before.

I guess I will have to increase my tv size to get the full apreciation of it...

 

waiting now for the burn in to complete, to get even more...

 

Heat? : from outside not so much in fact...

I even opened it (it's much warmer..) , I just removed the metalic cover (since warranty was out anyway..),  but I couldn't unplug any of the connectors to open it furthur (anyway I didn't really need it, and I didn't want to break anything, but it looks pretty hard to detach the various inner connector cables...) .

 

  So I saw your work ; I have to say, for some time I wondered if you had  not forgotten the shottky diodes dac board modification since I didn't see the "usual image of the 8 schottky diodes replaced (picture that is on your oppomod web site, with those diodes "deported" on the top of the cd player with coloured wires and heat radiators...) ; But looking more carefully, I think you just changed the way to do it and you replaced the diodes directly at the original place (a little bit above), right?

 

Anyway, thanks for your job, reactivity, and everything...

I want you to know that I am impressed on how much of an improvement

 there is in my picture quality on my older 1080P Tv.
With the work you did Installing your OCXO clock module on my OPPO 103d mother board for me 

and with the Linear Power Module SE you sold me,I no longer am in a big hurry to upgrade to a 4k television.
That was money well spent and I want to THANK YOU once more.
