PANASONIC DP-UB9000 modification results

몇달간의 작업 및 수정 끝에 개조 작업이 완료 되었다.  개조 작업은 리니어 전원으로 교체와 메인 클럭인 25 Mhz를 파형이 거의 이상적인 Femto Clock으로 바꾸는 것.  작업 중 가장 힘들었던 것은 이외로 파워 서플라이와 메인 보드를 연결하는 커넥터를 구하는 것 . 몇 달간 뒤졌지만 결국 찾지 못했다. 원래의 전원 기판부에서 떼어 사용해야 한다.

개조 전에도 궁극의 화질을 보여 주는 기기이지만 개조 후에는 확실한 보답을 한다. 가장 놀라운 점은 그렇고 그런 화질이라고 생각 했던 Blu ray 영화들도 아주 세련된 이미지로 보여준다. 말로서는 표현하기 힘든데 과거 OPPO UDP 203 이나 205 기기를 개조 해서 보았을 때 그리 감흥이 없던 보통 정도의 화질의 영화들이 정말 영화 같은 느낌으로 다가온다. 

극상의 화질을 보여주는 타이틀의 경우는 그 차이는 크지 않지만 일반 영화 타이틀이 훨씬 좋은 화질과 그 무언가 영화 같은 느낌으로 보여준다는게 놀랍다.  80년대 이전의 필름 카메라로 찍은 영화들의 색채 재현력과 품위감에 감탄하게 된다. 

After several months of work and modification, the mod. work was completed. The mod works involves replacing the linear power supply and replacing the main clock, 25 MHz, with  a femto clock.

 

The hardest part of the job was to get a connector that connects the power supply and mainboard. After months of trying, I didn't find it. It should be removed from the original power supply board.

 

Even before mod, the device shows the ultimate image quality, but after themod, it gives a definite reward.

The most amazing thing is that even Blu-ray movies that I thought were modest quality became  very refined . It's hard to say in words.

 n the case of the best-quality titles, the difference is not great, but it's surprising that a regular movie title shows much better quality and something like a watching intheaters.

Especillay You will be amazed by the color reproduction and elegance of blu ray titles  taken with film cameras before the '80s.
